Rains and Roads

Till a month ago, Hyderabadi's were looking at the sky. Not to reach out and attract the attention of the Almighty, but a few drops of parched rain that to the fill up Gandipet, Majnira and if possible bring up the ever depleting water levels.And rain how it did.

It simply poured... and poured. A lady bank employee got sucked into a drain. Cars were floating all around Park Lane... and traffic jams every where.Now Hyderabadi's have a new prayer. NO MORE RAINS.... PLEASE.The roads have gone from bad to worse. Craters have formed which will put the ones on the moon to shame.

Ever since Naidu logged out, Hyderabadis roads have taken a backseat. Nobody is bothered, specially present Chief Minister who has time only for tours to villages and promising the innocent people lots of boons. (free power, free seeds, free rations....) Nothing wrong, except for the fact that none of these materialise.

So it's time we Hyderabadi's started to take an initiative to bring the roads back to their former glory.
