After weeks of dithering, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has finally woken up to the fact that its worth looking at the option of celebrating 200 years of the founding of Secunderabad. Tourism Minister, GAOP, Geeta Reddy was not sure if it was going to be a week long or month long affair.
We have a word of advice for the Minister. Make it a year long celebrations. And be sure enough to involve the citizens of Secunderabad in it. Let each locality or colony come up with its own ideas on how to make this bash a memorable one.
