Secunderabad is 200 years old

It's twin might be four hundred years plus, but that does not deter Secunderabad from having a bash. The modern counterpart of the twin cities, Secunderabad gets ready to celebrate 200 years of its existence.

For those from this part of the city, its time to draw in nostalgia. The sprawling Parade grounds, the favourite hangout Sangeet, the imposing Clock tower, the chaotic Secunderabad railway station are all a part of the floklore. For many of us, who grew up in Secunderabad, its a proud moment. Let us raise a toast, and say cheers. Along side a picture of a young woman with Bonalu offerings.
