It’s one institution where students from Andhra Pradesh have an absolute stranglehold. Over the years, Telugu had become something of a second language in the campus. Now, things are much closer home with BITS Pilani setting up its Hyderabad campus.
According to sources, the campus will be up and running by June 2007. The registration of land which is located near Shameerpet, close to the Hakimpet Airforce base on the northern periphery of Hyderabad is being done on6th April. Architects for the project are being invited to Pilani later this month for a pitch, based on which the constructions plans will commence.
