Karthik Madhavapeddi an engineering student college was witness to a chaotic scene at ECIL X Road around 12 noon on Thursday, 5th Nov 09. The mess was created by candidates who were coming with their supporters to file nominations for the GHMC elections.

He mailed in a few pictures of the traffic and the chaos created.One of these pictures show the Congress flag prominently and a large group of people. The smoke from the crackers is also visible. Another picture shows the CPI flag with a loud-speaker next to it. They are all in it

Also, I would like to add that this was right next to the police station with police personnel (both civil and traffic) on the roads.

Is the Election Commission noticing this wilful violation of rules?
